Welcome to “My Reflections of Nature Art Quilts”.  I am art quilter Marie Strassburger.  I love bringing my lifelong love of nature to my art in creating one-of-a-kind landscape art quilts.  I am recently retired from a 30-year career as a wildlife biologist and am delighted to utilize my quilting artistry to reflect the wonders of our natural world.   Located in Truckee, CA, the Sierras provide incredible inspiration.  However, as an international traveler, I love gathering inspiration from across the continents.  My conservation experience, love of photography, fondness for  colors, and an affinity for detail all contribute to the beauty and detail of my quilts.
