Living in the Sierra Nevada mountains and adjacent to the Tahoe Basin, provides a limitless opportunity for inspirations to create reflections of nature art quilts. Kayaking on Lake Tahoe is just phenomenal and the best way to truly appreciate the amazing shades and depths of blue. One could probably come up with at least 20+ names to describe the variety of blues.  How would you describe Tahoe or your favorite lake?

Blue fabrics can also be downright amazing, especially when your favorite color is blue, like me. Adding these components together has provided me the inspiration to create a pastor’s stole (which I just got to present!) and a table runner both using very similar designs. What fun!!!
