Soroptishop 2020, a great fundraiser offered by Soroptimist International Truckee Donner, is now underway virtually through November 8. “My Reflections of Nature Art Quilts” is one of many vendors participating in this event.

I just created a new quilt “Into the Woods Bear Art” for Soroptishop as it seemed very appropriate to create a bear theme quilt for those living in the Tahoe area or elsewhere in forested habitat visited by bears. Who doesn’t love seeing bears in the woods? The proceeds from this event are used to support Soroptimist service programs within the Truckee Donner and globally. They focus on improving the lives of women and girls through education and programs leading to social and economic empowerment. Donations are not required to shop but certainly appreciated.
